Leading a group of business analysts and planners to advance strategic planning and analysis projects will be a major responsibility of yours as a Finance Manager at Honeywell. Developing and implementing corporate strategies to maximize operational efficiency and spur growth will be a key responsibility of a finance manager.

To find business prospects, you will be in charge of examining consumer demands, market developments, and the competitive environment. To accomplish corporate objectives, you will create and carry out business plans in conjunction with cross-functional teams. To assess corporate performance and pinpoint opportunities for improvement, key performance indicators must be monitored and reported on.

Responsibilities

  1. Role & Responsibilities Lead Annual Operating Plan and Short Range Outlook processes designed to drive forecast accuracy
  2. Handles SBG Engineering / Beyond Engineering Finance planning and analysis activities such as preparation of Annual Operating Plan, break it down to monthly plan, work with functional stakeholders to operationalize.
  3. Do analytics, within and across SBGs in the areas that are common to bring new dimensions of financials performance. Example could include OEF analysis or pyramid analysis or indirect expenses analysis across SBGs and functions to drive “right cost in right place”
  4. Identify performance trends, risks and opportunities in current plans and forecasts, develop and drive performance, projections, reports.
  5. Lead and support in-depth financial, trending analysis, and variances for key business drivers and KPI metrics
  6. Demonstrate a COO mindset to ensure integration between the financial and other functional priorities (such as HR, SIOP, EOPS)
  7. Identify productivity pipeline opportunities to drive sustainable savings
  8. Partner with Controllership on month-end close and quarterly close; support in periodic Audits (Corporate, Statutory, etc.)
  9. Consolidate monthly / quarterly and annual financials across SBGs at site level on time and complete the review with the site VP-G&M and other leadership
  10. Drive Capex decisions keeping long term impact in mind
  11. Handles more than 1 Engineering + 1 Hosted + X-Site functional responsibilities.
  12. Lead special projects based on the organizational priorities

Continuous improvement and stakeholder management 

  1. Focused automation of routine activities and use of new and global standards such as FDS, HP
  2. Standardization of reports, analytical dimensions to bring consistency of interpretation and decision making
  3. Manage day to day operational queries
  4. Partner with functional stakeholders to continue to improve their finance acumen

Key traits 

  1. Executive Communication skills; ability to interact effectively with leadership.
  2. Ensure strong MOS with SBGs (SBG Finance, GBE leadership, SBG CTOs, HTS Engineering leadership and functional leadership)

Qualifications

Qualification & Experience 

  1. CA / ICWA MBA / M.Com
  2. FP&A and People leadership experience – 8-10 years
