To expand our team, we are looking for a proficient and meticulous Financial Reporting Data analyst. The chosen applicant will be in charge of producing informative reports and making sure that the data in our database is accurate, comprehensive, and consistent. Strong analytical abilities, technical know how, and excellent stakeholder communication are necessary for this position.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, perform checks and create data templates ready for load on the system.
- Reconcile/compare reports and identify and resolve discrepancies between different data sources using reports and data comparison tools. Create and maintain comprehensive reports such as variance analysis reporting and that provide insights into data trends, discrepancies, and reconciliation outcomes
- Create customization of reports for our corporate clients using advanced excel or semi automated tools.
- Address any errors or issues that arise during the reconciliation process and implement first level corrective actions.
- Conduct functional, user acceptance, and performance testing to ensure data integrity within the system.
- Document the reconciliation and reporting processes, including issues encountered and resolutions.
- Communicate findings and reconciliation results to stakeholders, providing clear explanations and recommendations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Technology or Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data reconciliation and report generation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
